Bari's First Show! Don Bari, our stunningly handsome (well, he thinks so!) Oldenburg gelding had his first show outing with Beth April 19, 2005. While his inexperience was rather apparent, Bari dazzled the onlookers with both gymnastically original airs above the ground, interspersed with some really superb dressage work. Look for him at upcoming competitions!   World Cup Las Vegas! Beth and Mark took a much deserved, much needed vacation to Las Vegas to watch World Cup showjumping and dressage. Well, one day of dressage, but the showjumping was breathtaking. It was a treat to sit and watch all that exquisite horseflesh jumping huge obstacles. Beth salivated over Ludo Philaepparts' Parco, Lars Nieberg's Lucie, Anne Kursinski's Roxanne, Nick Skelton's Arco, and Ludger Beerbaum's Coloeur Rubin, while Mark was loyal to his original pick to win, Meredith Michaels-Beerbaum's Shutterfly, who sailed to the overall championship only pulling one rail in four rounds. Exciting competitions, great "halftime" entertainment, and Las Vegas Events' fantastic management made it a wonderful experience yet again. We'll be back in 2007!
