At Renaissance Farm, Beth stresses basics.  "You have to crawl before you can walk and walk before you can run.  You cannot skip steps.  It's hard.  It's painful.  It's frustrating as heck, but if you do it my way, you'll progress and lay the proper groundwork so that you do not later have to go back and 'fill holes' created by shortcuts.  If you start properly and always go back and reconfirm the correctness of your basics when you run into trouble, you'll never go too far wrong."

Beth has ridden all types and breeds of horses and is talented at determining the best way to get through to each type and then convey that information to the rider so that a willing, happy partnership is formed between the pair.  "It does no good for ME to be able to ride your horse well and train it for you if I can't teach you to do the same.  Happily, I can.  And I can do so to whatever level your and your horse's talents and desire will take you."
